I've heard the off-the-field culture is out-of-control. Loose...no discipline. Back in the day, players were afraid of Schnellenberger.

At Southwest High in Miami during my time there playing we only won (2) games in two years.

I never affect my game , I just wanted to play every snap on O , D and special teams. To be under the Friday night lights DESTROYING All Dade / State players in front of me was my food as Freshmen to Junior when I got seriously career ending injury TOUGH.

Our coaches were Science teachers and Government teachers never concerned me only THE CARNAGE I caused and watching SR All State players REFUSE to shake my hand after game even though they won because they knew this Freshman caused them to bleed and look like CRAP in front of college watching them get destroyed LMAO.

So I tell you after the OC issue these players have no WAR HORSE HEART

He didn’t look very athletic against La Tech.

Running around like a chicken with his head cut off to run out of bounds behind the line.

Some around here are calling him weak, soft, and a quitter.

I wish we would have kept him in and let him bomb. Matocha too. It would have been UGLY. Even worse than what we already witnessed. That way people can do the “everybody sucks” and proclaim Van Dyke the savior (just like they did Perry, and then Williams).

At some point people might realize the failure is organizational and it is the Hurricanes that make players look like trash, not the other way around.

We rag on the offensive line. We talked the exact same bullshyt about no talent on the defensive line when Golden and No D were here. A decent DC with a system that almost fit put that talent bullshyt to bed.

The right OC hire will do the same for the offense.

Tate may be the best option going forward, but anybody who pretends like they know what we have after the Richt and Enos **** show are fooling themselves.

Everyone isn’t built like Jalen. That kid showed some great character as well as wisdom. Graduates then pursued the grad transfer.

Exactly, he had no protection and no one open. That's after he ran around and bought time, more than any other QB and kept his eyes down field. This whole offense, from play calling to talented but lazy and under coached players, is the problem.
 
I would have had no problem, if at the start of the season, Diaz would tank the season to purge the roster of all the fakes and phonies that pretend to be Hurricanes. Certainly you would believe a coach who has announced to everyone that the program has a disease, which it obviously does, would spend all season weeding them out 1 by 1. Instead, we tanked the season anyway, allowed the soft and malcontents to overrun the program again. Now, patient 0 is squarely Manny Diaz. How could a HC believe the players were gonna take care of this on their own, thats a lack of leadership, thats a lack of conviction and some one who clearly had no plan. He just hoped and prayed. Now we all have to hope and pray this dude has a come to Jesus moment, cure the disease from himself first and sack up. Hope and pray, hope and pray!
 
Unfortunately, Jarren is one of those dudes with nice physical skills who is a loser. He’ll flash for you and get you excited, but losers lose. He’s like a poor man’s Jeff George.

I’ve been saying it for a long time about him, but if you’ve got skills like he does and win 4 games in HS, then that’s a huge red flag to me. A winning QB in college usually isn’t such a devout loser in HS.

QB is a different animal. The great youth QBs raise the level of their overall team.

TVD or Matocha in the spring and just go with it. Whatever is going on with JW and Perry just isn't going to get it done.
