Jarren Williams admits to going through the motions

It's just so odd because at the beginning of the year he was actually playing very well for a first time starter who just needed better work on his deep balls before his first injury (as well as just common improvement everywhere for a young player).

Everything derailed after that injury, though. It's almost like he just wanted a staff to trust in him and not abandon him so easily, maybe? That could have caused his up and down performances and slide at the end of the year. Maybe he/the other qbs didn't trust Enos/offensive system/or Manny? He was a really really good qb in high school, too, and his HS coach raved about him.

Something just doesn't add up because he played great against Louisville and then, once again, everything turned to crap.
His game dropped completely off the face of the earth after Louisville. Complete loss of accuracy too which is crazy considering how he was usually pretty **** accurate. Regardless we got to explore all options for this position next year, is what it is

This entire program needs to be cleaned out. Fire all these coaches and our idiot AD and revamp the whole mess with new leadership! Get rid of these slackers. Diaz and Blake go first! Neither knows what they’re doing. Total incompetence that spreads all the way through to BOT and university President. This is about more than football.

It’s not. Best athlete is Tate but still unproven. Hope and pray for D’eriq King.

What's this INFATUATION y'all Cane dudes have with LOVER BOY?! Because it seems to me he's HIGHLY OVERRATED and all that. After all, he EVERY opportunity to beat out JW and Perry! And isn't y'all Cane dudes whom are saying both JW and Perry should transfer out of the program. dUh.

Even Jarren on that run that was called back and perry looked like better runners than martell which is crazy to even think about and sad to see for martell. I thought Martell at least had enough juice to make that defender miss on one of them plays where he was there 1 on 1 but he didn’t

lol there is no way jarren is a better runner than Martell. You literally saw one drive and Martell looked way more quick and elusive. Maybe can make a case for Kosi.

I second your notions. And the DIMINUTIVE TATE is PROOF that a lot of these HS ratings are HIGH BALLED or fixed to make some guy's better than what their true football ability be and all that.
Or they're accurate, because numbers don't lie. Then, you see that translate, when said athletes properly utilized. Just a thought.

Again, it's a highly toxic environment in the Miami locker room and yes, Diaz should be fired along with all his assistants! But that's just my imagination running away with me and what not. hUh.

Defense absolutely looked like it went through the motions late in the games in which they had leads/tie vs uf, unc, va tech, ga tech, duke

The FIU game did look like the entire team had spent the week thinking the game was gonna be easy and there was nothing to worry about. I think Duke happened because of the demoralization of the FIU loss. But for the rest of the season, I see the breakdowns (and we certainly had some bad ones) as different from "going through the motions." The latter seems to be an attitude that's set before the game starts and is evident throughout. The fact that it mostly happened late in the game suggests it's probably not a matter of not caring. Bad offense also fatigues a D and the mind and body are a step off.

@KrazyCane was right about Jarren...

That's why I never dismiss when he has his Krazy takes, because there's always some truth to it regardless of how outlandish it may be lol.

A lot of you MF'ers owe my boy Krazy an apology too, yall would get so mad at him for going at Jarren but he always had a legit reason... There's a method to the madness.

It doesn't make any sense: that Louisville game and then the beginning of the year, etc versus the late season slide.

That's debatable. Because I've witnessed A LOT of Miami players whom were highly rated coming out of HS, and turn out to be BUSTS, or just average at the Power 5 level. And I'm mainly thinking of the past eight or nine seasons. Yeah. Coaching has a lot to do with it, along with the system and what not.

And dig this. How do you explain a Baylor team with the VAST MAJORITY of their starter's having " 3-Star rankings " coming out of HS. There's a lot of winning teams out there whom, also, rely on a boat load of 2-Star/3-Star former HS players, too.

That’s why coaching matters. However, Jarren also has made enough mistakes in the games he did play in the last 3 games of the season where you can’t even blame coaching on it too though

Perry isn’t any better. They both are not good enough to be the qb at the university of Miami and that’s clear unless there is some drastic change that takes place

Never liked jarren as a QB and have always been vocal about it. Tried to support him but dude made it hard.
