For those in the know, is there any chance he gets a shot this year? I'm not looking for a full-blown explanation; I just want to know if he is even being considered at all.

I'm sure a lot of this depends on how Rosier/Perry play going forward, but I would hope that Richt might give him a serious look regardless.

I don't see Richt burning his redshirt. So that means he can play in 3 more games I believe. Maybe if we completely **** the bed he lets him finish out the season.
 
He has been dealing with an injury so I'd say not likely due to time lost on Greentree. I'd like to think we blow out another team, say Pitt, and he gets some PT.

Ya, maintaining that redshirt is probably important to Richt, but at what cost if Rosier and Perry are only marginally better than Jarren?

Narduzzi is going to feast on our lack of offensive productivity and 5 plays. Same with Bud Foster.

I didn't say it's the right choice. At the end of the day we could be really screwed at the QB position next year. Say Williams does win the job, Perry could transfer, Weldon could transfer and boom we have 1 scholarship QB.

I was never the biggest critic of QB recruiting but to only have 1 guy targeted could really **** us for years to come. Now if Williams starts hopefully that means he's the truth but who knows at this point.

I'm not righting off Perry either, those picks were terrible throws, but he showed he can look off a defense a little bit and seems to at least look for other receivers. IMO Perry needs to be given the job back and Williams needs to start getting real practice reps, Rosier is what we know him to be and Weldon is probably laying on South Beach higher than a kite right now.
