Jarren coming in 2019

I think Jarren has through the roof potential & can be a very good QB, but he'll be a Red Frosh next year with no experience. Expect another season of QB seesaw, both Perry & Jarren will play.

Redshirt designation shouldn’t matter, Winston as a redshirt freshman led FSU to a title. The kid was one of the best qbs in the country coming out of highschool, I think He’s equipped to play very well in terms of talent inexperience or not. Don’t get me wrong I like Perry and he has some nice things to work with but I’m not sure he can hold Jarren off next year

Richt had plenty of opportunity to play him against Pitt but did not all. Either he is way behind or transferring no other reason not to give him some playing time late in that game.

Him being a Red Frosh doesn't matter to me, it matters to Richt is my point.

Richt prefers & values experience over anything, I'm in favor of starting TF's, I would've played Jarren this year, but Richt would prefer that his QB's be upperclassmen that are battled tested. He only plays young QB's when he absolutely has to.

Don't trick yourself into believing something that hasn't happened. If Mark & Jon are still running the QB's/Offense, then Jarren will go through the same struggles that Kaaya, Rosier & Perry have all gone through, there is no outlier QB that can rise above the system & it's coaching. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over & over again expecting a different result.

We'll get elite QB play once we get a real QB coach & a real OC to actually coach up our talented QB.

Manny Navarro is a straight up r-tard. This guy was the worse Canes beat writer of all time. He's been writing trash like this for 10+ years. I can't believe the market hasn't forced him into a more suitable industry for him like ditch-digging or sperm bank janitor.

I can confirm that Malik Rosier will NOT be competing for the starting job in 2019.
 
A competition would be nice but it may come down to playing whoever of the 3 QBs isn't suspended that week.

This is my worry. It was supposedly an open QB competition this past offseason, yet we saw Malik get all of the reps with the 1s. A true open QB competition here would see the reps equal between Williams and Perry (I don't see Weldon being on the team next year). I'm cool with an open QB competition as Perry was decent at times, but he hardly locked up the starting QB job this year. I want the best QB out there against UF in 2019, whether that be Perry or Williams.
