Was offered on Monday and immediately scheduled a visit for the spring game (March 18, 2026). Was considered a heavy Vols lean until this turn of events.

Chandler arrived on Friday, and the visit went into Saturday, giving him a full look at what Miami has to offer.

“They laid it out straight for me,” Chandler said. “They want long, fast guys that are aggressive — and that’s exactly what they think I am.”

Chandler is now planning to return for an official visit — a significant development considering how recently the Hurricanes entered the picture.
“Miami made a big move this weekend,” he said. “I want to get back on campus to be around the people and the place and learn more about how they see me in their system,” he said.

I like that they’re recruiting him at linebacker. Decent track speed for his size 11.3 100. He’s a safety to LB guy, hopefully we fare better with these transitions than we’ve had with the stand up rushers to LB.
Much easier for a big Safety to transition to LB than an undersized DE to LB.
Manny unfortunately didn't get that despite being a LB "guru."
