Jones it’s time

Not saying he can’t become a player, but we need to bring in someone proven. Then if Jones becomes a player, great, we’d be able to rotate and stay fresh. With the success this season, the $ brought in from the playoffs, and I would assume more financial commitment from our donors, there’s no way we should depend on Jones to be 1 injury away from starting. Other teams are spending big $ and acquiring loads of talent. We need to keep the talent level high with depth if we want to continue to compete for championships.

Is this guy any good?

I’d be shocked if he’s at least not a rotational guy here . The kid that works for me that just left to play d1 ball said he’s never felt strength and power like that blocking someone. He felt like a child. He has a good mixture of speed and power but lacks the length you’d want. He’s one of those country strong mofos you just can’t explain. Heatherman likes these hybrid types so he fits the mold. He has some Kancey to his game , maybe not quite as explosive but more powerful and leverage. Both are in the 6’1 range with shorter arms.

JC played in 7 games at OSU including Texas.

Still need to bring in guys that you think can be productive. We’re losing 2 possibly 3 DT’s. There’s no way we don’t bring in help from the portal. Carter would be a great start.

Not sure if it was posted here or somewhere else but they aren’t allowed to sign on the visit. The rules say they must wait 24hrs before they sign anything.
