I don't see why so many are frustrated with the comparison to Ed Reed for Jaquan Johnson. I think people are saying his "Playing Style" is that which resembles Ed Reed very much. No one here is saying flat out he is the second coming or re-incarnation of Ed Reed. Reed was and is a tremendous player, but the resemblance in playing style between them is eery.
 
That's not how I read the title of this thread. Lets leave the comparison's out and let him be his own man.

This comparison does not fly and actually ****es me off.

Been saying it since I saw him as a freshman. His game always reminded/reminds me of Ed Reed.

Amazing how Jaquan came back from the back injury last year.



Also a tidbit. Jaquan little brother killing it in Optimist right now. Gonna be one to watch out for in the future along with Gabriel Taylor. Don't know his little brothers name though. Been the word in the area.
