Jango Glackin is 2016 LB who transferred this spring to IMG Academy, he is originally from the Cincinnati, OH (area). The 6'2" 210lbs linebackers biggest assets are his elite quickness (4.03 sec shuttle drill) and his high football IQ which allows him to diagnose plays quickly an react quickly. He reminds me a lot of former UM linebacker Josh Witt (2012) who was also lighting fast, but unfortunately due to medical reasons retired from football his freshman year.

Jango's strength would be covering the slot WR's or coming on the blitz an with UM playing a lot of spread & screen teams in the ACC having that short area quickness could be a great asset. Hopefully UM offers an can get Jango down for a visit to Coral Gables before he commits elsewhere. Glackin would be bring a different eliminate to what is already the nations best LB Class for 2016.

Wisconsin was expecting him to commit on his visit but HC Paul Chryst wasn't there. Apparently JG wanted him to be there to commit to them, or was expecting him to be there. He obviously ended up not committing and Evan Flood, the Wiscon writer-very responsible with his Crystall Ball picks, has now put in a prediction for Oregon and expects him there unless Wisconsin can re-sway him

If he's really 6'2 210, then he could be part of our contingency plans at Will. Seems like he comes from a hardcore football family. Those kids usually do whatever it takes to succeed. Lets see what his film looks like after a season in Florida.

Dave Aranda has a very good eye for talent, as do the coaches out at Oregon. Aranda pulled a good under the radar 3* LB out of IMG last year as well, the kid put on a tackling clinic when IMG played Trinity Christian on espn Last fall.

Let's see how Jango's recruitment turns out.

He is not originally from South Florida, so Miami should not recruit him no matter how good he is.
