Around this time last year, CanesInSight did an interview with a talented football player. The player had little exposure, no BCS offers and no set position. But he was a pure football player. In his senior year, he proved he could become an elite talent with the ball in his hands at the next level. His name is Trayone Gray. Gray, now a University of Miami signee, showcased enough ability to draw comparisons to Anquan Boldin, Darren McFadden and Hines Ward. Miami was built on instinctual...

His season at American Herritage will either make or break him. Right now on his highlights you can see he has some talent but nothing that makes someone go, "We need that." He doesn't have a lot of highlights at DB and when ever he runs he goes out of bounds. Just not a lot of film on him, you really can't see what he can do yet.

Camps will show the potential and he will have Gibson to throw him the ball so he'll have every chance to shine

... 'Cane fans joke about the proverbial "dream offer" kid that goes elsewhere, but rest assured Pough is not one of the dream school kids. Pough grew up liking multiple schools but does his due diligence on all of the interested schools...

1. Kid reads the boards
2. We have a chance

Im guessing he means that the running joke on here about the "dream offer" is what he knows about and he's making it clear that he's not one of "those kids" who get the offer and then go somewhere else. Its still a dumb thing to stress over that because **** near every kid has a dream offer in mind and its rare that they just go there

Pretty much what jamaican said. I seriously doubt kids in high school know that we fans poke fun at the "dream school" moniker unless they read about it either here or somewhere else.

I can tell you right now the kids dont have to read the boards to know about this. They say this about the dream offer but they dont use it as a joke but fans do let them know because some kids have actually told me. It doesnt hurt us but its still stupid like its an offer but they're going to the best school for themselves

I know. I stated that in my article, not Pough. He never said anything about miami being his dream school. What I wrote was just to add in another element to the article. If Pough would've said, "canes are in my heart or miami is my dream school" there would've been a bunch of comments about that quote.

My fault Glory. I guess I was used to seeing that, and just ASSumed that it was him that said it as I skimmed over your article. Well written piece, hope you have spotted another diamond in the rough.

Tbh Pete spotted him first lol he named this kid as a sleeper earlier in the week. Even though HG did a great job here I do remember Pete being the first

Me and Pete didn't spot him. Hurricanok83 was telling us both about this kid for a while.

I can't see a kid from Anerican Heritage committing to miami. I know Walter Tucker went to Heritage
