Yet he gets almost every play. There is no PT repercussions for his continued penalties.

How you do anything is how you do everything.

IMO, he just doesn't have the speed or quickness that is needed back there.

I was at the game so I don't recall specifics (other than 1H), but did you see that play where the Pitt WR almost took one to the house and Williams just got enough to knock him out of bounds? Williams looked slow next to that guy.

A 5 star Safety who is fundamentally unsound/doesn't know how to tackle! Who are these so-called talent "evaluators?"

This. The kid is just not a Safety, and he’s trying to learn on the job.

It’s tough to watch.

If JW looked exactly like Kam, and Kam looked exactly like JW - people on here would talk **** about Kam the way they do JW.

It's subtle but it's apparent. You want a player to look and act like a modern day slave robot and that's why Miami will never be what it was.
You want a 5 star animal that's a fkn sambo and it just doesn't work like that. Get real talent and appreciate it or accept mediocrity.

What? Explain a little further…Are you saying you don’t want a player to play his assignments but rather he do his own thing?

No I'm saying he's an easy target, a usual suspect because of how he looks. The kid isn't polished but at least he shows up.
He has no fear. But we have several players who actually deserve the criticism who are older than him and/or or as hyped.

Jake Garcia is has looked 10 times worse in a more meaningful position but doesn't get a smidgen of critique JW gets.

If hes truly like that, which I have no idea, I struggle to see it changing. Reed has been here. Mario is here. Zo is here. Defensive assistants with histories of success. At some point it should have clicked by now. We see Kam and now he’s become that guy this year after a tough start. We haven’t seen or heard that yet from JW.
