He flashes, but then does something stupid. He's criticized here more because so many expected the world with him. Nowhere near as bad as everyone makes him out to be, but he's gotta get rid of that enforcer attitude of his where he goes for the bug hit rather than the sure hit.

Nowhere near as bad???? He has missed 670 tackles and took 450 stupid penalties over the last two years.

He should not play Safety next season.

Either backer or rush end, at this point.. if he doesn’t like it.. tell him he’s free to leave.

He and Gurvan Hall are two of the worst safeties I’ve ever seen play here.

And before people bring up AJ Highsmith…remember Highsmith came here as a QB and moved to Safety in 2011. Williams and Hall played safety their whole careers.

No argument from me! Wouldn’t even bring Highsmith into the conversation. JW0 picked the right number to show his ability to contribute at his position. Needs to figure out where he fits best on a football field before he goes undrafted after college.

Nah, dude can’t tackle, he’s out position constantly and getting unsportsmanlike penalties to boot. He’s just not a good safety and I don’t think he’s going to be a good LB either.

This post is a microcosm of why we're garbage. Stop letting **** results slide.

He sucks and we need his roster spot for a recruit or transfer. Apologizing poor play is partially how we have a roster made up of G5 talent.

He already has 2 years worth of reps. superstar players dont take 2 years to make an impact. lets be real, the kid is average at best

He has not improved at all over two seasons. In some ways you could argue he has regressed. Last night he was doing the same bonehead things in game 12 of his SO season he did in his first game as a FR last year. That is a problem.

kid is more focused on talking to trash than knowing how to tackle. i never seen a guy talk trash to an opposing sideline down 30. he is the type of player that needs to be purged.

Of course we expect more. A couple of plays? There's no point in discussing anything with that kind of hyperbole.

He made more plays than Kam this week, but he always gets a pass around here and isn't held to the same standard. Kam is this boards love child that everyone conveniently forgets has blown double the coverages of anyone on the team. He's gonna grow as well, so it's all good.

Williams just needs to work on his tackling and awereness, which is an issue did every defender we have.
