James Palmer has blown up at Nebraska

Just like Lecomte. Sometimes these kids want to be the guy. Manu would have had to share time with Angel his junior year. That was a very, very good Miami team in 15/16.

Palmer had potential, but had he stayed he would have had to share time.

Yeah, we let at least 3 highly regarded guys walk out the door (Lecomte, Palmer, and a big time shooting guard from Miami)

JP has blown up as many DC and Baltimore Catholic League players will. At least we still have one of those.

Blaming this staff is insane? They are one of the few that regularly beat UNC and Duke

Dude is in way better shape than he was in Miami. Also DeAndre Burnett puts up buckets at Ole Miss although at a low FG%, probably averaging around 15ppg there

Good find, Burnett is the guy that transferred.

Burnett didn't want to play a lick of D, just wanted to jack up shots. No coach worth a **** is going to put up with that, especially when said "Scorer" is a volume chucker. What's funny is that Burnett had a role here, and was coming off the bench as the instant offense guy.

Palmer on the other hand was a guy L would have loved to keep around, but it was obvious he was far back on the depth chart. He wasn't a complete player like Davon, he wasn't dynamic like Sheldon. He was firmly third on the depth chart at that spot, and it's tough to sell guys on sitting and waiting, knowing full well they can start somewhere else. Manu is a perfect example of that. In previous generations, Manu would have sat behind Angel, and most likely shared time with Quan after getting a redshirt(Which he desperately needed, his body needed to mature). He wasn't willing to do that, and instead transferred.

There is a ton of attrition across college basketball, what's your point? Guys aren't willing to sit for years anymore. There's a reason why.

As we have Zach Johnson, Anthony Mack and Kameron McGusty on our roster.

It's not Coach L's fault that these guys didn't want to wait their turn. What was he supposed to do? Play them ahead of guys that were clearly better than them?
