You're defending UGA, when the whole entire point of my comment is that UGA not being able to hoard all the best players is a net positive for College Football overall.

So now recruiting at a high level (since your words were Texas always recruits well & always will is Charlie Strong getting a #20 class, a #10 class & a #7 class... Got it we're playing limbo again. I guess the bar that apparently applies to Mario doesn't apply to how Charlie Strong recruited at Texas even though mack brown semi regularly competed for top 3-5 classes and had multiple #1 classes. I don't know why I'm having this conversation with you. I realized from other comments you've made that comprehension isn't your strength. So again, my words were the university of Texas is a bunch of racist good old boys that are in charge to clarify for you. I'm not saying this because I feel the majority of college football is racist like you said. I'm saying this about Texas because it's something I personally experienced. I'm saying it because several of my good friends played for Texas and experienced it and lastly I'm saying it because Charlie Strong himself and I had the conversation about his time there and what he experienced. I'm not lumping anyone else into this or generalizing anything I don't know myself. You're saying it in a very broad spectrum because it's how your mind works apparently. Meanwhile you keep trying to take shots at me. Myself I'm pretty sure I've never came at you slick. All good though. Nothing surprises me on here anymore. I said now that everyone has a semi level playing field it balances everything out more and they can't always simply get the top tier kids they want. This discussion was about Texas & UGA specifically. You said that Texas doesn't always recruit well in particularl under Charlie Strong, I responded with the fact that they had 2 top 10 classes during his tenure. So again, what exactly are you talking about there?

And if Texas doesn't routinely recruit well, the fact you pointed out that Mack Brown had multiple top 5 classes contradicts that point.

As far as comprehension not being my strong point, that's hilarious. I comprehend very well. What I don't comprehend is when people make points to arguments that have nothing to do with anything I said. I get confused by incoherent tangents that have nothing to do with the observed topic.

As far as the racism of Texas on the booster level, I mean are we really about to sit here & act like that same argument couldn't be made for at least a dozen schools in the SEC & B1G?

I didn't take any slick shots at you, point out what I said that made you feel that way. But I didn't take a shot at you at all, I honestly have no idea how that original comment could be construed as a shot at you? If I had something to say to you, I would @ you say it directly. I don't engage with people that I don't respect, so if I actually reply & have discourse with you it's because I actually care about your opinion. If I didn't, I would never say a word to you.

Again, if you can point out where I said you don't know anything, I'll agree with you, but I don't see that happening because I never said that.

The reason why UGA needed to die, is because as long as they were allowed have a decided talent advantage over every other program it completely unbalanced CFB & absolutely destroyed the minds of Canes fans in particular that there's was the model to follow.

Programs like, Texas, USC, Oregon etc. can have as many #1 classes as they like & it will keep CFB in equilibrium. It's when UGA & Bama start hoarding all the talent is when you see the lopsided unfairness that destroys the game overall.

When the non-South powers are at the top, there's more parity in CFB.

The way it should be, is Texas, Miami, Oregon, Oh ST etc.. You can swap out those 4 with another geographically spread out 4, but what you don't want is, for UGA & Bama to bleed the life out of the game by stealing all the elite players.

The more great players that get dispersed across the country, the better.

Brother you got a realize conversations adapt. They take on context. My comment initially was in agreement with you YES TEXAS RECRUITS VERY WELL, EXCEPT WHEN CHARLIE STRONG WAS THEIR COACH. When he was their coach recruiting became FOR THEM , WHAT WOULD BE CONSIDERED SUBPAR. For those that don't know (not saying you don't know) Texas every off-season directly after signing day, they have a HUGE cookout for highschool juniors and seniors.( Same way we did under alfraud) the sole focus of that cookout was to get the really big Texas and Oklahoma kids on campus & get them locked in early. Directly because of that cookout EVERY year under Mack Brown they would immediately jump up to somewhere in the top 3 for their class. More often than not #1. All their big boosters would come out etc, hand out envelopes, hug some babies,etc. They'd fly in their big time alumni & celebrity supporters all on the boosters dollar so it was virtually gaurenteed the outcome. Well as soon as Charlie Strong got that job those big time boosters became very vocal almost unanimously in blatant disapproval of the Charlie Strong hire. A lot of them actually left being supporters of Texas and became supporters of Texas A&m and Texas Christian instead of staying and supporting Charlie Strong in the University of Texas. This is a real life story. So what I said they were recruiting like that except during Charlie Strong's tenure it's because that's what was going on. That doesn't go on all throughout college football or even close to it where your own school your own alumni your own boosters your own board immediately wants you gone. I still personally don't even understand how he ended up getting that job as many people that didn't approve of him being there. That's simply sabotage. Lastly I didn't say that you spoke about Mario in contrast or any other topic relating to Mario. I simply said if we think number 10 number 20 and number seven is recruiting at a high level then just look at Mario as the example because he has had three top five or top six classes since he's been here three full years and half the time our fan base says if all we brought him here for is recruiting he can't even do that. Yet this man has brought three straight top four top five top six classes. Maybe I wasn't clear about that it wasn't me saying you said anything relating to this stuff it was just simply I read various comments from various people and the way they apply things it's hypocritical. Nothing to do with you. Just simply it's very hypocritical the bar that's applied when it relates to here or others.
