Gotta figure out a way to get this one done by December. Whatever it takes. Him or Brown, gotta have one. DTs don't grow on trees down here, if we have one this good in our backyard, you simply cannot let him go.

I look at recruiting in 2-year windows at each position. You can absorb a light year at a spot, but the next year, it better be addressed.

We signed Donta Simpson as the only DT in 2025.

2026 MUST, and I mean MUST, be an acceptable haul. It has to include this kid, Brown, or another one of the visitors we've had in. But we need two big bodies inside in this class. Having Johnson go to UGA is unacceptable.

1000% we will continue not to reach the top if DT recruiting stays like it has been. It would be a waste to get all these other good players and be pedestrian at recruiting DTs. You can forget about beating good teams and dominating regular teams with subpar DT talent. Thats a position you have to stack with elite talent.

This isn't a debate. There is no sugar coating this. It's June, and this kid, nor anyone else has signed anywhere. This story is not yet written. But we're just talking about WHAT MIGHT HAPPEN IN THE FUTURE, and losing this kid is unacceptable, if it happens.
