In recent months, head coach Pat Narduzzi hinted that Conner might return before season's end from the knee injury thanks to hard work and dedication. Conner seems to be carrying that over to this diagnosis. The running back lost weight in the offseason in the hopes of displaying more speed and quickness. He seems set on playing for the Panthers again.

I saw this pop up on my phone, that is terrible. I believe that this is one of the more beatable forms of cancer though so being young and healthy will be a big help for him getting through it.
