It's a good hire for Smart.
He won't be asked to call plays, just to go find players and he's good at that.
I would not have minded having him retained on UM staff either, as long as
he didn't call plays.

Yep.... He turned us down, he's not being retained by Smart and he's not saying where he's going. The dude's a mystery right now.

One of the worst play callers I've ever seen. I've been saying it forever and will take it to my grave....WINNING is the best recruiter so when recruiting is the best thing you can say about a COORDINATOR...then it speaks volumes.

So with that said I consider this James Coley situation as the definition of addition by subtraction. I long considered him just as bad a coach as Onfrio was. Getting rid of those 2 bums instantly makes the staff better.
