James Coley is a much better Playcaller than Enos

Say what you want but Coley made Bard Kaayak look like a first round pick and joe yearby a 1,000 yard back.

Both of who production sank the minute Coley stepped off campus.
Kaaya's best year was in 3 in the same system that set football back 50 years. Dale Coley was awful.

No it's not, Notre Dame is in no way shape or form a championship caliber team, they prove it every year. Georgia should actually be ashamed this game is where it is.

ND is absolutely a championship caliber team. That’s crazy talk.

They’re on the road with a shot to beat GA and they aren’t championship caliber??? Cmon

No they're not, you will see before the end of the year. How many times have we seen ND get to the end of the year with hype and get their face kicked in. It's what they do.

They made the playoffs last year, did they not? Also, they were in the BCS title game 6 years ago. Brian Kelly is legit

This guys lost to UGA on the road by only 6, and had a chance to win it at the end

They have a veteran team back from last season, and they have the schedule to win the rest of their games. They have a legit shot to make it back to the playoffs this season

You said championship caliber. When they get there they get destroyed because they aren't championship caliber. Your proving your own point. No worries of you want to believe Notre Dame is championship caliber have at it, but they prove Everytime when it boils down to it they are not.

Making the playoffs and/or the title game means you’re a championship caliber team.

I’m confused at how you don’t think that’s the case.

Was the 2002-2003 canes not a championship caliber squad? 00-01 canes?? How about the 86-87 canes? Not championship caliber to you either?????

Not sure what was so great about Coley. I don't think of his tenure as being any better than, say, Patrick Nix. Both are eminently forgettable. We have an excellent, repeatable record of hiring forgettable, mediocre OC's.

Some teams don't deserve to be in certain games, won't continue to argue with this one. You will see it for yourself at the end of the year. If you lose to Alabama by 40 points no you are not championship caliber my goodness.

He was getting crucified on their board last night. Win or not. People were NOt happy with him
because he is terrible.. and it was a pathetic hire by Kirby. It will be their downfall. Dude can not produce in the second halves of games.. This trend has been with him his entire carreer. **** I made money off better UGA under points total for the second half and will continue that bet for the rest of the year.

Talent. Coley wouldn't fare any better if he was in Enos' seat.
At a minimum, we wouldn't struggle in the first half with Coley. He was fantastic with his game scripts. You can tell he really looked at film and attacked weaknesses. He fell apart in the second half, but I'm not sure if it was him or Golden always forcing him to hitt he brakes to protect his sorry defense.

This is just another reason why it’s obvious the program is cursed. We ran Coley off to Bolivian and now he looks all world as a playcaller for a team with a legit shot at the title. Conversely, we are paying through the nose for Enos, but his play calling looks likes he’s straight outta 1995.

Coley has improved a ton. Enos seems to be more QB coach than OC.

Whether its Enos or Coley calling runplays not gonna help the fact we got no push.

I will say this, Enos' run game is very vanilla, where are the counters or powers, traps etc.
We run between the tackles leads, jet sweeps or a toss, that's it....
You can tell he is a QB at heart because everything revolves around making everything perfect for the qb, without realizing he puts other positions in trouble.

Coley as I recall always had a decent script until opposing defenses adjusted. Then we'd get inspired play call like a halfback pass in the middle of a snow storm.

Coley has probably learned a few things since, but he has better talent to work with than he did here. That's the main difference between now and then.

Even if Coley isn't the best OC... the man can recruit! Does Enos bring ANYTHING to the table?
