everyone in the country wanted Jaquan that kid was elite. If he was a few inches taller he would have been the best safety in the nation for the c/o 2015

He was ranked nationally 212, 13th best safety. I consider elite the top of the top (basically 5 stars). We might just disagree on the meaning of elite. Nothing against JJ, he was my favorite commit in last years class.

Maybe not 10x...but JJ is a better prospect

I think JJ is a better version of Dallas Crawford. Solid player. Doesn't have potential to be elite.

Cook seems like he has a really high ceiling. Could be wrong.

Reading comprehension buddy. I said in last years class. Wasn't exactly the most stellar class but I am giving him props bc I was pretty high on Walton. DC was not the worst safety we've had btw. He was a tough nosed football player with limited athleticism. Not quite good enough to play safety here (belonged on ST) but I respect him.

That's all I was trying to say. Give Cook props, not hate on JJ. Kid has an awesome frame, moves well & just comes across as very raw. Can't teach size, speed or explosiveness. High risk / high reward

Jaquan Johnson will start every game at saftey for the next two years. May even play some boundary corner.

Kid is a total stud.

He needs to get stronger like everyone else on the team. If he puts on some weight naturally in the process of getting stronger and older that's great. But I'm done with the whole Folden "he needs to gain weight" model.

Lift weights, maximize nutrition, but stay away from bloating these guys up too quickly or unnaturally.
