Jameel Cook and Pie Young visiting Louisville this weekend

Latrell Williams had a much more productive senior year and is faster than Pie Young.

Cook had some hate towards miami for you can tell in his interviews i never thought we ever had a chance for a while

I realize we are talking about Dade vs Lake City; however, LC Columbia plays in a legit division against very good competition. I will take the more productive faster guy all day.
 
Cook is a very good prospect but not elite.

Big red flag is that he does not run track.

You bet your *** we are getting back to recruiting speed. I cannot find a verified 40 time for Cook which typically means he is trying to hide his speed or lack thereof.

I felt the same about Ray Ray Armstrong. Was never convinced he could play S here because of the lack of a verifiable 40 time.

How is that Miami High team though? Pie can't really be surrounded by much over there.
 
Hopefully the coaches saw cooks performance and moved on. You're not missing anything with this guy.

Richt does not have time to play the BS games that kids like Pie and Cook are looking to play.

Shouldn't be. People looking at potential. We can't at the db position this year, we need guys to suit up now that are discipline play fast tackle and wrap up. The new targeting rule isn't helping us at all.

It will be interesting to see how he plays this. I don't think he'll be as stubborn as Randy was - I think richt can nuance his way around the kids that like to play games. Richt knows how to play this game whereas Alf did not. But, it will be a new experience for richt given that it's prevalent in sofla
 
stop it with Jamel Cook. Yea he's not good enough for UM (who has no safeties by the way), but LSU, Bama, FSU are going to war over him. Kid is a monster. This is the type of kid we need to start landing. Pie, whatever. I really would not mind Latrell over Pie after watching that incredible tape.

I love his range and he would fit perfect in our new aggressive system because we are going to need that safety blanket back there. All that said, we dont have time to play games. Kid is not coming for an official visit. Maybe he just aint interested. Fine by me. We need to keep moving. Same goes for Pie.

We just dont have time to babysit anyone. Either you are interested or you aint. If you dont want to officially visit that shows me you are not seriously interested. We dont need any "do the hometown team a favor" visits like Golden and his staff were legendary for handing out to local kids who had no interest in being here. Hope those days are over.

Cook is an obvious take let's not front. I just think he's not trying to come at this point and it also seems like that's why the staff seems to be all in on Romeo
 
Jaquan Johnson is 10X the prospect Cook is.

I would take Cook, but I'm not losing sleep over it.
 
Cook is not good enough to play the BS FSU set up game we have seen so many times.
