- Miami helped its chances for Lott during his Saturday visit and will land a summer official visit from the consensus four-star prospect, he told CaneSport. Miami is continuing to battle Texas, Ohio State, Georgia, Oregon, USC and LSU, and he’ll officially visit Oregon, LSU, Texas and Georgia, but Miami made its case this weekend. He plans to lock in a date for his Miami official visit by the time he leaves Coral Gables Sunday.

“Just coming down here, it’s amazing,” Lott said. “I already knew I liked the coaches and stuff like that, but being able to go through practice, talk to coach (Kevin) Beard and everybody else on the staff, and obviously coach (Mario) Cristobal, he’s amazing. Like, being able to actually personally connect like that with them in person and spending the whole day with them, it’s just amazing, so I want to set up an OV for sure.”

- Lott said he eventually expects to pick from a group of about six schools, which he now expects Miami to be part of.

“I’m really high on them right now,” Lott said. “They blew me away. I can’t lie.

Stiff competition but we are trying. I’d honestly take him at WR over Russel, Keys, and any other WR we are recruiting.

6. WR Jalen Lott

Jalen Lott may not have had the most productive day in comparison to some of the other prospects on this list, but he undoubtedly had the most “WOW” moments. In the defensive side of the ball he played corner and was able to make a couple plays on the football batting down two passes on the day. But on the offensive side, he made two of the best grabs on Saturday afternoon. His first came on a 50-50 ball where he head-tapped a defender. The second came on a pass over the middle of the field where he showed off his ridiculous vertical and floated to high point the football and make a catch for a first down with two defenders surrounding him. He flashed some special athletic ability and positional traits on Day 1.
