O-Line, QB, DT & CB are the biggest issues we have in recruiting.

You can add RB too, last year was a fluke for Thomass Brown.

Thomas Brown has recruited good RBs back to his time at Georgia. The other position we whiff on and take plan B every year. Until this stops we will never beat Clemson and win the ACC.

I spoke with his trainer recently. He said he will be sticking no matter what. He also said that he’s a perfect 3 tech DT. Pass rushing specialists.

He has been training him since the 9th grade and spoke very highly of him.

Have his trainer get in Jalar's ear about getting 2019 QB Zach Calzada to flip from Texas A&M to Miami. We need a good QB.

Just curious who did he recruit and sign when he was a coach at UGA?

Nobooodddyyyy!

He tried riding off Gordon & Gurley's coattails.

Unfortunately for Lingard, he fell for it.

So by that logic if lingard is talented he will succeed ... gotcha
I have no doubt Lingard will succeed.

He's a smart and driven young man that's committed to excellence.

My point is Brown sure as **** won't be the reason Lingard is successful.

Ok I get you, yeah not high on brown and he’s stealing money at this point with that “title” I mean I don’t even remember the rb coach under golden and look how productive duke Johnson was. I think lingard/Davis will ball here

Your actully right I was thinking of Bryant McClendon. Who richt also tried to bring with him from Georgia. He has coached some good RBs but that shouldn’t get you the OC title.

Bryan McClendon is now the Offensive Coordinator at South Carolina, starting this year. He has the highest scoring offense at South Carolina since the Spurrier Era.

I know I also like South Carolina but have followed Miami way closer since I graduated from USCe(was there during spurrier glory years).

I always wondered why he didn’t follow richt miami but reading that sounds like the staff played a big factor. The writing was on the wall about richt. I wonder if richt would give him a call if forced to hire an offensive coordinator.

Like this kid, but unfortunately he's not one of the recruits most are worried about losing. Crowley was one of those. As are the STA guys.

He already turned down an co-oc job at Miami. I agree that a former player and staff member of Richt’s turning down UMiami for USCe is an indictment on their relationship

Do you remember if he offered that title to both McClendon and Thomas Brown (I mean initialy or did brown just get it bc process if elimination)? It becomes more then a title if you get to also call plays. If richt doesn’t hire someone with the same offensive philosphy(I think he will unfortunately) then this is going to be a very attractive OC job.
