2028 Jalanie George 5* DE from Goodyear, AZ (Desert Edge HS) Commits to Wisconsin

Come be the next Watt brother or.......Erasmus James?
this is who started the arch of gogetas football career. went from giving rides from school to the guy beating up on me in one on ones at football practice lol

played one year of hs football after never ever playing n made it to the nfl. Which is why i like seeing some of those transition from other sports kids especially at de because i seen the upside up cloase n personal in high school. didnt even know how to get ina stance

I was a big erasmus fan as a kid, those Wisconsin teams were tough....too bad injuries derailed his NFL career but still top 1% of the 1%

Nice guy was a volley ball payer we got to play sr year.

He made me a good pass pro Tackle cause he was difficult to block from day 1....think he had a sack or two every game the first 4 games of the sr szn and the offers came flooding.
We also had a young de that was called Baby Erasmus..he was in that 6'3-6'4 245-255 range as well and went div 1 down the road...the DL size in south fla has went down but were still producing them at high levels.
Baby Erasmus

he tore up the same knee twice in nfl or woulda had a better career.

That undersells it! B1G DPOY, Consensus All-American, 1st round draft pick. Injury bug is what got him.

He’s overshadowed by the Watt brothers, but is probably the next best DE of the 00’s at Wisconsin.

The 2004 Badgers team he was on, started 9-0 ranked #4 before an inexplicable blowout loss to a bad Michigan State team (5-7). No showed the following week and a good Iowa team mopped them (The Drew Tate year).

‘04 and ‘11 (Russell Wilson) are my great ‘what if’ Badger seasons. Both ****ed up by losses at Michigan State.

its cause he was my friend i aint brag to much on him. But yea man it was amazing to see a kid that never play do all what he did in such a short time when you were there to see him first get in a stance lol
he was still really good in volley ball n basketball n likely would of went to college for one of those too but it just to sows where his upside was... man it felt like he maybe had 20 sacks his sr year.. like 2 a game he was unblockable.

He was from stkitts/virgin islands...these caribbean islands have talented athletes that could play football if just taught.
