This is soo awesome, kid was a backup at Tenn. Transfers here and gets drafted in 3rd round (Bubble cutoff where you have high chance to make team) This is BIG time in recruiting.. Soo happy for the kid

He was a top 5 "best available" starting like midway into the second round

3 1st round picks and 6 of the top 100 players drafted were Miami Hurricanes!

Two of those guys were extremely close to being second round picks instead of third as well.

That’s the only reason I can think of - he’s a nickel. It’s great that he’s good in that spot but it’s limiting with his flexibility to play other spots. Still, you’d think his productivity and speed would mean he gets drafted shortly

If Scott hadn't missed those few games, he likely would've been in AA talk, imo. Getting Scott, Thomas, Poyser, Lucas, and O'Connor out of the portal was an all time heist.
