Announcing his decision to commit to Florida at 6:30, this won't help us with Bruce

Lol a lot can change from here to 2017 regarding Allen. I think beard has more of an influence on Bruce then Allen. Besides Allen would prob redshirt Bruce sophomore year and only prob play with him for one year if anything.

I don't believe Bruce ends up at Miami but Allen's decision won't have a huge effect. He just started playing with Allen.
 
Smart move, UF will nobody when he gets on campus, we will have Alison. Bruce will be a Cane after this year UF is going to have.
 
I do believe allison has a bigger impact on bruce than Allen does, just stating that having his qb this year all day in his ear about Florida abd Scarlett being at Florida won't help

I think he sticks, as long as we dont stink up the place.... Florida wont be that good this year... they have no o-line... Everybody thinking Grier will light it up, I dnt think he will.. dude got beat out by a 5'11 QB...I dont want to gear the bull crap about they redshirted him because of his weight wanting him to get bigger when he was clearly bigger than Treon Harris.... that dude lit up High School with 0 competition in NC... Beard will lock Bruce in... but its all on Beard cause if he wasnt here, I think Bruce would have left already...IMO
 
Wasnt a fan of Allen to be honest -- and ive said that since Day 1. Had he played for any other school, he wouldnt have as many offers.

He will put up good numbers at STA because of the talent he has at his disposal. But I just dont think he's a good QB prospect.

I agree the NC private school comp was weak, but His parents wanted him to redshirt, it was a precondition to going to UF.

it wasn't some excuse made after the fact.

This was 6 months before signing day....

"Redshirt is the plan right now,” Grier said. “We’re kind of playing by ear, but redshirt would be best for me, so we will see.”

“I’m focused on school and working out first, just getting my body ready, getting prepared mentally, learning the playbook and just getting into the swing of things.”
 
After reading the Bruce situation I think we sitting good with him. This kid just started playing with him so it's not like their close. Um has a solid year Bruce sticks....kid knows his with here and we don't have much we his type on roster.
 
The bigger question is whether 2017 QB Tyler Lytle from California is better than Jack Allen, if so will he commit to Miami.

people that know recruiting and know how it really works kno that Bruce wont be here no matter what. This story is the same yearly

Here is the problem, is that the recruits are scared of Kayaa and Jack Alison. main reason why FSU didnt sign any QB in 2014 was because no one knew if Winston was going to leave for sure. but they knew they def wasnt going to be starting. so when the knew he was leaving in 2015, they had 3 QBs committed. Lawson Dropped because of Kayaa and Toddy Dropped because of Alison, we really need a QB to fall in love with us for 2017 for them to commit. if Sherrifs pans out we may not even take a QB in 2017 but that doesn't seem to be the case right now.

What u hearing about sherrifs to make you say that? Because we haven't practiced yet or someone you know told you he hasn't looked good his 1st week on campus lmfaooo. ... i think Shirrefs is going to be ok.... Hoping we hold on to Jack he isn't a lock nobody is... including Shaq haha
