Jakai Clark update

I wouldn't be oppose to Rivers locking down that spot, Jakai coming back slowly and get his RS which he needed coming out of HS but was forced to play due to our incompetence, then have him compete at Center next year. I think the kid can be a really good C.
Rivers really helps Gaynor. I thought they looked good together on Saturday. Clark will be the 2022 starter at center.

Another card accident incident? Dang. We've had some weird injuries this spring. Get healthy boys!

I think if he stays healthy Rivers is winning that LG spot even if Clark was healthy tbh. I just like Campbell as a guard more than Clark, Clark & Rodriguez ideally will compete for starting center next year.

Was just thinking how they should redshirt Clark this year along with several others.
I know Scaife practiced at RT in the spring but this is how I see it unfolding:

LT Nelson / Campbell
LG Donaldson / Traore
C Gaynor / Reed / Moose
RG Scaife / Hillery
RT Williams / Herbert

Campbell and Traore are the first 2 off the bench, and after them you'd have 3 grizzled vets on the 2nd team while the youths man the scout team.

Redshirt: Clark, Rivers, Walker, Washington, Seymore, McLaughlin, Rodriguez

Here’s to a full and speedy recovery!

No need to rush him with Rivers there.

I also agree Campbell should get some reps there.

If Clark can’t go by beginning of year, and if Rivers gets knicked vs. Bama, can’t roll Troure out there.
