We just had 2 DEs drafted in the 1st round that are 6’3 at best.DJ.
Higher ceiling.
6'5 compared to 6'3.5
More explosive and twitch.
Brother also a highly rated target.

Doesn’t feel impossible
Both are committed elsewhere. Doesn't feel likely either, but a boy can dream.Doesn’t feel impossible
You are correct on this, Bryant is day one ready right now because of his size and power. People always think about rushing the passer, but always forget about the fact that half the defensive ends job is setting the edge and stopping to run. That was Bain and Mesidors superpower last year..Surprised by this. His arm length doesn’t scare you? Hes not a bain with overwhelming power. You think Jacobs is day one ready? I’d assume Bryant would be ready quicker due to size
Memon knows ball so I’m curious his reasoning. I just feel like Bryant is a day one ready end where he’s affective at setting the edge and rushing the passer. Jacobs might need to gain some weight and strength to be as affectiveYou are correct on this, Bryant is day one ready right now because of his size and power. Jacobs is out right overwhelming OL in his tape with power and speed. Watch it, this kid is the complete package. Somehow people are confusing him as some finesse speed rusher when he is so much more than that.Memon knows ball so I’m curious his reasoning. Yes. I didnt say 6'3 DEs are bad or anything. I only noted 1 of many factors. We just had 2 DEs drafted in the 1st round that are 6’3 at best.

Not saying he’s isn’t elite because he is. But I’m watching his Jr season hudl tape and he’s going against OL who are as big as Pete. The lack of size and setting the edge concern me for a day 1 contributor
Yet they can’t pass on their dream schools. Like the SFLA kids.Just curious why both kids felt compelled to commit elsewhere if they have a legitimate interest in UM. Is this a ruse to get more $$$ from LSU and OSU? Mario chases these kids all the way, which results in last-minute flips.
Being coached by a HOF who played the position and was named NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2006, with 62.5 tackles, 13.5 sacks, 10 forced fumbles, and 2 interceptions returned for TDs. Also, he prepared Bain and Mesi for the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft. That's the experience, knowledge, and insight that kids need.
Comp I likee from a Canes fan in another chat was Bryant/Bain and Jacobs/Will Anderson.Bryant sounds like BAIN. Being able to rush from anywhere and still stop the run.
And I would be ecstatic with either of those players.Comp I likee from a Canes fan in another chat was Bryant/Bain and Jacobs/Will Anderson.
True seems like most of the board's preference though is Jacobs but I agree would be huge to land either one.And I would be ecstatic with either of those players.
