Jai Lucas’ First Statement Win Was Exactly What Miami Needed

You know, when Miami came into this game yesterday, I wasn’t too confident the Hurricanes were getting into the tournament. But now that the game is over and Miami won, I’m buzzing right now that they will.

The Hurricanes’ 75–66 win over No. 11 North Carolina was their first true statement win. It’s also a huge one because this is the point in the season where Miami needs to get hot heading into March.

Impressive win considering we were down a starter and best defensive gaurd, shot poorly from the filed and the line, and still won by nearly 10. UNC looked bad, granted a lot of that was from our halfcourt defense. And we were great on the boards.
