My post a few weeks ago was not about one recruit it was about the run of recruits that looks like we are landing in SEC land. The resources we are committing is only 2nd to UT. As I mentioned we are committed to winning a chip.

Definitely imo feels like one where even if we end up getting his commitment, is the kind that we are going to have to work extra hard to keep his commitment by NSD. Whereas Mallory likely is locked in. I think chances would be high if Lamar committed to us we end up only with Cooper by NSD tbh....

This is an excellent haul…But I think Lamar is probably 1 of about 7-8 other backs you don't turn down this year.

Miami will not back down from Jae Lamar. They are prepared to take 3 backs if need be . They won't drop Mallory and are going all out for Cooper as we know. They view Lamar in the ELITE category .

Now if Lamar commits to Miami on Wednesday does that mean I am confident all three will stay? No I do not.

BUT that does not mean Miami will process anyone out. They love Mallory but Lamar is a SPECIAL talent and they want game changers in that room.

As of tonight, the Miami side feels they are right in the thick of things and feel they have a very good shot.
