Which is why he better be hoping he wins that lawsuit or he could be looking at a long career at the local Kwik-E-Mart. Like you said, at the end of the day he’s not a good QB. He’s not even good enough to be considered “MID.” We dodged a humongous bullet when he decommitted from us.

Question for the board, is there a way to see the actual lawsuit that Rashada filed with the court? Is that public record now that the case has been filed? If so, how would I be able to see it?

Public record. You just need to know the county in which the lawsuit was filed to find it. Most courts are now online as well and you can search by name. You may have to pay a small fee to access the documents.

Look for the Complaint and Answer to read each sides’ arguments.

Yup, it’s Rashada v. Hathcock, pending in the northern district of Florida. I can pull the complaint and link it.

Thank you dycane 🙏 after reading the case, what’s your opinion on Rashada winning a monetary judgement against Hatchcock & others or do you think a pre-trail settlement is written all over this case. From what I have read there seems to be some questionable negotiations on the UF/Hatchcock side of the case, just can’t see UF/Hatchcock winning this one.
