Oh, ****, I would have given Jaiden Francois credit for being ready to jump into MS-13 if he had spent some time with the Nebraska football players and alums, but he only went to 2 practices...

Nebraska Fans have always been Grade A...I wasn't at NC #5...but I was at #4...and in Omaha in 99...and they were always very cordial...Had a Great time in Omaha...

So you are saying that UM's Signing Day phone call to Francois didn't happen? Seems to me, that was captured live on video. Not the audio of the phone call, of course, that would be illegal. But the phone call happened.

In my humble opinion - I think that moving so frequently causes a significant challenge for most these kids when it comes to learning the game. Everything is geared to winning trophies every weekend for youth sports it gets away from learning the fundamentals of the game much less sticking with something and seeing it through. Breaks down a lot mental toughness

It's all good.

It doesn't matter if we want to call it "begging" or "a courtesy call", UM gave him a chance to do the right thing right up until the minute he signed that LOI.

He still signed with Nebraska. Then he gave that smarmy interview to Gary Fur-man.

I'm just relaying what I've been told, not judging one way or the other. I feel bad for the kid because I'm told he wanted to stay home and has always wanted to be a Cane but obviously his family was adamant about getting him away from certain negative influences which would still be around if he stayed home.

if he wanted to leave, if wouldnt have been crying. his fam were all excited about wearing the nebraska stuf

No offense but I’m not buying that story. Word is people around him took bags from Nebraska. That’s the real reason for him going there. Now he’s back and praying Miami reconsiders him. I guess these influences magically disappeared.....or perhaps they already went to the bank?

If that’s true then that sucks for him. However, opportunities don’t last forever. And this one was missed. He will have to plan a different route.
 
I doubt that anybody that knows what went on with Francois on nsd is here talking about it.
Whatever happened on that phone call and who was on it is pure speculation and may or May not be related to why he transferred
No way he’s gonna be crying like that on nsd because his position coach left.

You can believe whatever you like, I'm not here trying to convince anyone of anything. I just know what I know and thought I would share.
