Jacory With the Story

Still remember jacory trying to high five AG after a throw in practice lol.. He tried tho. Wasnt his fault the regime was awful.

That recruiting video hurts my soul. Hurlie, Larry Scott, and Ice must of kicked themselves having to qualify their opinion to Dorito. Hurlie almost forgot the cameras were around when dorito says 'you can teach anyone to play safety' lol. That's your job *******!! Nobody comes from high school as a finished product or they aren't worth it. Your job is to teach them!

Jacory also was a bad decision maker under Whipple, he consistently attempted to fit throws into windows that required much more arm talent than what he possessed.

Some of it was on Jacory no doubt, but most of that crap was on Whipple.

I remember listening to an interview with Shannon after Jacory got hurt...Shannon said Morris threw an INT in the middle of the field, to which Jacory said, "Why did He do that?". Shannon said He turned to Jacory and said, "You do the same $h!t *****!". That right there told me that Whipple taught the QBs very little to nothing about coverage...if 2 QBs are making the same mistakes, that's on coaching.

So you saw an interview where Randy Leonard Shannon said "You do the sam $h!t *****!" to Jocory Harris?

I find that incredibly difficult to believe. Even Randy Leonard Shannon, a man with almost no people skills, is unlikely to have said that out loud. I would love for you to post that interview, because I'm finding it almost impossible to believe that happened anywhere outside your skull.

LOL...I embellished that part, Randy actually said "You do the same thing Jacory". It was a radio interview, either with Mandich or Zagaki.

I'll take things that never happened for $1000 Alex.

If Jacory had the arm of Morris he'd being playing in the NFL. I think he had it mentally, just not physically. A quality young man.

If having it mentally means consistently making the decision to lob the ball up into triple coverage, then yeah, he had it mentally.

Nothing but respect for Jacory. Kid deserved better than rotating OC's every year. Kid took a huge shot vs VA that knocked him cold. I was amazed he ever played again.

No, if he had the arm of Morris he would just throw deeper interceptions.

He threw 2 or more picks per game especially in the big games win or lose.

The guys playing under Shannon and Golden have a special place in my heart because they suffered tremendously yet rarely said a thing. Harris was a quality college QB who had zero development. He would have been excellent under Richt. Same with Morris.

Jacory could've been a pretty good college QB but he was playing in the wrong system. The second we asked that kid to take snaps from under center and read a defense while taking 5/7 step drops, he was doomed.
Ironically, every time we were down and needed a couple scores, we went spread/shotgun and he marched us right down the field. (that should've been a sign to somebody)

Youre so full full of shid you cant even think straight.

You couldnt validate this with any film.

Whipple left that man out to dry in 4 and 5 wide sets almost every game. whipple never ran max protection sets. youre smoking hasheesh

Yes he did. Whipple loved using 2-man routes.

He would go 21 personnel, play-action and have Benjamin drag all the way across the field to the opposite flat.

I’m thinking the Duke comeback his freshman year in particular. He looked so natural in the shotgun

Unless they end up ratting us out like Randy Phillips or otherwise hurt the program I'll never, ever bag on a South Florida kid who chose Miami when they could've gone elsewhere.

There are so many turncoat pieces of **** who deserve our scorn so much more than a kid like Jacory who came here and balled out as much as he could.

Lol, low blow...kid was a soldier for us during the dark years AND he beat FSU.

Real talk bro... One of my favorite players (During the Randy era)! Never forget tht FSU game... Boy had ice water in his veins. Still hurt we missed on Bridgewater & Eli after him!

Don't misunderstand me. I appreciate his achievements, especially the game he had vs FSU in '09. But that doesn't cancel out all the times he tossed the ball up into coverage and the times he would make a horrible play and then come up with a limp afterward...a limp that seemed to come and go depending on whether he made a good throw or a bad throw.

Maybe, like Brock Berlin, he would've been better if he was always in the shotgun. We'll never know.
