Jacolby George following up a costly muffed punt with 3 TD catches today:

I don't know why they feel like they need to catch the ball even when surrounded by opposing players

That doesnt bother me as much as over the last 2 games we have seen 2 different punt returners try to catch the ball inside the 10. Last week it was X who fair caught it at the 5 and this week Jacolby tries to field it at the ~8. He could have muffed that catch anywhere, but he shouldn't even be trying to catch the ball inside the 10; he should have let it go over his head and hoped it bounced into the end zone.

Could have gone in the tank after muffing the punt but came back to grab three TD’s. Proud of him today, I’m not even mad about the dropped TD, that was a tough grab.

I think "X" acquitted himself well today too. 6 catches for 126 yds, with a long of 48 yds.

Jacoby George just has a way of consistently getting open, running great routes, he has good balance and he can make tacklers miss. He was definitely one of “them ones” today️
