I think there are opportunities in CFB for guys who are grown men to make an impact on the field in ways that their 21 year old bodies were not ready to make. I love that he's coming back.

When he was healthy he was one of our better run defenders. He’s a good locker room guy that can give you 10-15 good reps a game and won’t cry about it. It would be foolish to run him off. Plus he’s entering his prime years since he’s 28 lol.

When your program has recruited as poorly as it did over the course of many years that gave you no organizational depth...you got to take transfers like Lichtenstein and they will play. He's not a bum. Just a lunchpail guy.

Hope he can stay a little more healthy though.

Mario wouldnt have allowed him back if he didnt want him IMO. And you do need solid depth/role players. No way to have a team of all 5 star wannabe starters

With the portal, everyone is transferring cause they want a starting spot somewhere, but there's not enough to go around. Appreciate someone who can accept their role, work hard, and contribute when they get snaps
