2028 Jackson Vaughn 5* DE from Oradell, NJ (Bergen Catholic HS)

Close on David "DJ" Jacobs, then immediately begin work on Asher Ghioto and Jackson Vaughn. If Mario gets the trifecta, watch out.

Edit: need to get Meshi Dobson also. Run the table and folks, there's no OL going to be able to deal with us.

All three quoted after the O$U game

Don’t know why we don’t make a push in NJ. Vaughn and Tahj both 5 stars and the Woodward twins. 4 top 100 players within a few miles
yea a lilw eird since Mario coached at rutgers. we dont go in as much as we should cause their top kids are wide open...you just gotta beat out PSU mostly i guess OSU some..,but osu only was in their because of how wide open it is.

For 2028, we are prioritizing NJ to that extent.

As we can see in this thread, we’re recruiting Vaughn who is a teammate to the twins. Ghost twins at least visited twice last year; the second time was for the Bethune Cookman game after they played West Boca, Javian Mallory’s team.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the rotating cast of powerhouse OOS programs continually ends up playing a South Florida program in South Florida when they have mutually interested blue-chip targets who are usually underclassmen

We offered Tahj in august before the start of his sophomore season.

NJ is a sneaky tier 2 type school for HS talent after the first group of Florida, Texas, Georgia, and California. Good mix of positional talent too.
