The rumor doesn’t pass the smell test.

First, doesn’t seem like the type of guy trying to go out and party. He comes from a great family focused on athletics.

Two, if he was making bad decisions and is leaving, this would insinuate that Mario wants to drop him. Can’t see that happening. He gave Lowe plenty of chances. Mario knows 5 star talent doesn’t grow on trees. You continue to work with him.

Three, why would he automatically be going to Missouri? Yes he is from there but doesn’t mean that’s his first choice.

Hope it’s not true but people in Missouri are saying he is transferring to Mizzou next year. Supposedly he has not been making the best choices in Miami. That may be what Cristobal was referring to about him maturing.

Francis would be at LT, samson would be at guard. Francis had a 67 ovr grade his freshman year, Samson has at 63 ovr grade right now vs the comp we played

This is rivers in 2024..He’s somehow become underrated on this board

Now post his run blocking grades....

There are two facets to OL play. Run blocking counts as much as pass blocking. Samson is an elite run blocker. His pass pro could use some help/improvement.

2 of RR, SJ, or Buchanan. I was expecting an OL of McCoy, Samson, Cantwell, Ben, and RR.

Wrong. The plan was always for Samson to play LT. Fans just ignored that because he wasn't available in spring. That was determined before spring even started

Zero sacks given up. On the fast track for a 2nd-round pick, maybe even a first rounder if he plays well in the playoffs.

These kids are professional athletes now. Cantwell probably got a couple million to sign here. Homesick should not be an issue. Suck it up, buttercup. Make the best of your situation. Enjoy the city, work hard, and be our starting left tackle next year

Sounds like the joker who threw out a bunch of bull**** last year that Miami was getting everyone and their moms recruiting wise and he went like 2-15 then disappeared. He doubled and tripled down on it too.

With all due respect, that simply is not true. It does not look like January 2026, but it's way better (at least in the run game) than it was @ Stanford.

Just mentioned this in a previous post. I was expecting 2 of SJ, Buchanan, and RR to be replaced. My OL projection was Samson & Cantwell at T, Ben and McCoy at G, RR at C.
