Jackson Cantwell is not hurt

Anez Cooper better than Rivers. Different, but better.
Markel Bell is in the discussion as well. Again, different.

And it's MiraBAL.

Side note - Replying with lol emojis is not really a winning rebuttal. @Kn[]_[]ckles3o5 took the time to write a detailed and fairly accurate response. In true CiS form, you ignored it, replied with :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: and think you've proven something.

The post said that Matt McCoy is as good as Jalen rivers. There’s no point in reading past that or replying with anything but 🤣

I will end with this because all that matters is getting the best out of what we’re trotting out there this year… which up to now is a mediocre unit…. If anyone on this o line plays as well as rivers this o line is going to be good enough to play with the big boys up front come December January.

65.8. Why are you acting like rivers wasn’t a good run blocker too? Wtf is going on here? Why are yall acting as if rivers wasn’t one of if not our best olineman

And yes samson is elite in the run which is why my point is simply we would be able to put freshman francis at lt and move samson to guard, we can’t do that now because cantwell isn’t ready yet(which is fine)
Correct. That was entire reason why it made sense to keep giving Bell a few series a game at LT, kicking Rivers inside to LG, when at that point in his development Rivers was still a superior pass blocker at LT. He was that good of a run blocker, and even moreso at Guard which was his natural position. IIRC, Rivers came back for the UL game. We only played two P4 teams when he was out but we averaged 5.7 ypc rushing from UL-Iowa St with him back. We averaged 4.7 in the two P4 games he missed. I don't know if there is a way for anyone to check what our YPC was on the rushing snaps when Bell & Rivers were both in the game, but I would guess it was 6-7+ YPC (ESPECIALLY IF YOU INCLUDE THE MARTINEZ HOUSE CALL THAT THE REFS STOLE IN SYRACUSE WITH THE PHANTOM HOLD - still mad about that, lol)
