Nobody ****ed up anything. They put in projections for all the top kids. All the time. They're not trying to "undo" any ****ups. They're just trying to make this all as dramatic as they possibly can. If they say "he's going to UGA, no need to pay attention", how much traffic does the site get? How many views does the stream get? How many people say "on3"? Or "247?

But if they do this, how many people click all day long? How many folks decide OK, I really need to see what's up with this kid, I'm going to push away from the dock and sign up for a subscription?

There's your answer.

As of last night I felt great but the air this AM shows a tightening race. As always any team can win. If they do it was because the NIL was not something my team was willing to meet. In the end I believe he will be here but may not after today’s news.

It wasn't necessarily a **** up. Dmoney and Peter literally admitted today they had a commitment reaction pod already made back in April for Cantwell. These things change constantly

yes when he was originally planning on committing. Steve put his CB in once he posted that JC will be delaying his commitment date to visit UGA.

that's what I meant by **** up. he gave away the hype build by blowing his load too early. now trying to back track to rebuild the hype for the commitment to drive traffic (article about NIL, constant writing about how were in the game and he has our large NIL offer, etc.).

I've been MIA lately but from what I can gather, every single one of our "insiders", including the most optimistic, have already conceded him to UGA.

Anybody who still has hope/optimism that we're gonna get picked today at 345pm is just getting sucked into the unwarranted last minute hype that both Drew and Cantwell's camp are fabricating so that he gets the attention worthy of the #1 overall recruit.

Honestly the more I hear about Miami, the more I feel like it will for sure be Georgia. Seems like a clear drum up some drama campaign. No shot fresh of a visit to Georgia that he doesn’t commit there two days later lol
 
Best thing we can do is hope to get Cantwell on campus for OV, maybe get the flip like we did with Justin Scott after we had the lead early in that one.

Let’s make sure Coop doesn’t leave to follow.
