I swear I’m not being an apologist, ya’ll know me. I understand the 5* label is muddying things with him but if he starts in 2026, and goes on to be a top 50 pick, is he a bust? Especially considering he sat behind 3 NFL guys in Francis, a projected R1 guy, Rivers and Bell (not saying he is an R1 guy, but I’ve said my thoughts here).

If you start and you're an all-conference type player, which you almost certainly would be if you got picked in the Top 50, you are sure as **** not a bust. Even if it's just 1 year. Maybe 20 years ago, when every single kid stayed about 3.9 years on average, and nobody transferred. But not now. If you get 1 elite year out of a kid you can't say he's a bust. Maybe didn't completely live up to a 5-star billing, but he's not a bust.

You know what you know...I happen to have different info. Doesn't make me stubborn because I don't trust kids from the Midwest.

It's my opinion!

When since opinions are facts and someone can't have a take?

What's the issue is because someone doesn't agree with you, they are somehow wrong.

Again, he can pick Miami or not. Doesn't change my opinion of midwest kids every year from here on out.
Good luck on your journey!

Some early checks cleared is what this is
I get that. It is a bad look and creates unneeded drama (whether real or perceived) to keep pushing and changing dates. They should have just stuck to the original announcement schedule and taken their OVs and UOVs along the way. No one would have even blinked an eye and just accepted it as business as usual.

This is about to be fun

His people are doing absolutely EVERYTHING to keep him from committing here it seems. Every time some momentum swings our way there's a visit somewhere else or push back date it seems. We'll, let's see whatcha got Mario

You have no info. You have an opinion. You can't even differentiate between the two.

You just keep using the words interchangeably, when they are not interchangeable.

Alma mater matters....and every stone will be turned over before they say no....Every parent wants their kid to go to their alma matter, especially if both parents went...

Have you not seen Blind Side????? LOL
I went to Mizzou. I’d rather my kids go elsewhere. I **** sure don’t want my kids playing for my college HC. I’m not the only person that feels that way.
