Play Chart

- 2nd and 8 Rosier throws INC. Inaccurate pass.
- 3rd and 8 Rosier throws INC. Inaccurate pass.
- 4th and 8 Feagles punt. 31 yard punt. Downed at the opponents 47 yard line.

Then the other team gets about 15-20 yards and kicks a 46 yard FG right down the middle with a walk-on kicker who is kicking 42% on the season because kickers on 100% kicker vs us.

Switch 1st and 2nd down and you are so money. It ****ed me off to no end this season. They'd load up the box to defend the run on first and Richt would dial up a perfect easy pass to counter, and Rosey would miss it every **** time.

This is so not funny, yet I busted out laughing.

Feagles was the first punter ive ever seen scared.

Trying too hard to live up to the name on the back of his jersey rather than the name on the front? Think that's something that he'll get over? He was pretty **** awful most of the time, but there is obviously talent there.

Feagles was feast or famine this year. He'd lay 3 in a row inside the 10, then shank 3 in a row. If he could get the latter corrected, he'd be aces.

I just know... If we had to punt from inside our own 20 it was a guaranteed 3 points at least for the other team.... No power.... But like u said everyone and a while he woukd get a coffin corner

Man, our STs HAS to be better. Should be a strength, but overall, It's a negative for us.

Awful punting and a 3 and out offense gives opponents a advantage.

Seemed like the coverage teams were competent, but the return game was ineffective.

I assume we need more talent and depth?

Unless he shanks it, Feagles is actually very good at pinning opponents inside the 15 yard line on short punts. It is his current inability to boom long balls (50+ yarders) and the inconsistency (shanks that are far too frequent) that are making him very risky as a Punter. We desperately need quality competition at that spot in case young Feagles can't work with his dad to get this straightened out. He's got to hit the weight room hard (while maintaining flexibility) and he has to be waayy more consistent on his punts (completely eliminate the shanks from his repertoire). I think he's been taught to create a high spiral by punting the ball off the extreme outside right of his foot. If it's windy or something else small goes wrong, he ends up shanking it.

I hope he grows in his current role and straightens this out but we could jeopardize an entire season if we don't have strong competition at that position next year. We cannot be conceding the field position element in multiple games. It doesn't need to be that way and that would be insane in a game where the line between victory & defeat can be razor thin.

These threads about Feagles crack me up, as if everything else about the offense was running silky smooth, but the punter is the one thing that held the team back. There were some games where Feagles had 7 punts by halftime, which is absurd. The fact that we had to see so much of Feagles is an indictment on the offense, not on Feagles.

he was putrid, shut up.

Two positives, 1. He never outjicks his coverage and 2. He only uses a sand wedge So is great kicking from opponents 35. Would be great kicking an onside punt...old fin fans remember that one from the Shula magic hat.

Wait, Feagles got benched against Clemson?

I stopped watching before halftime.

I feel you... That **** was hard to watch... I remember the score was 28-0 so I walked outside for a few... Came back in and it was 38-0. I thought it was my Roscoe Parrish jersey so I switched up and put on my Ken Dorsey. I had to realize luck can't save us this time...

Laughing because I changed my UM shirts a few different times to reverse the mojo and it worked until the Pitt and Clemson game said

Im cannot share that opinion. Feagles had some mechanical issues that made him inconsistent. Once you accept that you realize that him being on the field was a crap shoot with the odds in favor of a muffed punt. To your point, him having to punt so much made the issue become more apparent and more detrimental to the team, but the core issue (Feagles mechanical issue) is still at hand.

We've been so good at Punter for so long that watching Fecals singlehandedly destroy field position every week was excruciating.

Either revoke Feagles' scholarship, move him to TE, or recruit another punter.

idk about all that but at this point I want shannon knowles handling punting
