J Young definitely passes the eyeball test

Why this kid hasn't been starting ahead of McCord and Kirby is Flucking unbelievable. Kid has speed, instinct and knows how to tackle and not get caught up in the wash. I felt like our defense had a different vibe once he came in and made a few big plays.

Typical clown show not getting this kid more burn until someone goes down and no ****s has to play him.

Couple weeks ago people were calling him a wasted scholarship

LOL they were. And when he makes the wrong read or gets burnt by a TE as a Sophomore he will be labeled trash, not Miami caliber, etc.

He played well today and deserves any praise he gets for it.

And in a couple weeks people will be begging for Kirby back

Please stop it. Did you watch the game? Its obvious, he is faster, a better tackler, plays pass defense better, can shed blocks etc etc. He may have bad plays in the future but Stevie Wonder can see this kid is better then Kirby

Kirby has played well this year for the most part man. Y'all tripping. Prayers up to him

IIRC he was injured coming into the season. He's still young and is going to make mistakes, but he seems to have all the physical tools to be solid. He definitely balled out today. Made some great plays today.

Young plays more downhill than Kirby ever has in his Miami career.

Sad too, because Kirby has had a litany of opportunities to make stops this year but is often on his heels.

I hope they don't try to blow young up to 280 pounds. He had better instincts and was always around the ball.
