ITT We Discuss Possible Golden Replacements

If you guys remember......Alabama was hot to trot for Butch....he turned them down ......but took the Browns job a few days later.

What is with all this talk about shadiness and national perception. Do people forget that is was the shady folks in the NCAA that tried to ***** us with their devious tactics. We should hire whoever we want. **** national perception.
 
The freaking guy would be our HC/OC. His offense is the perfect fit for South FL recruiting!!! Lets face it people style of play means alot to these kids.
 
Im a big fan of spread, and even Im not that high on chad morris. Seems more like a copycat and not the architect that Malzahn is, we missed the boat on Malzahn dont try and go get the faux version. Has he been a head coach anywhere? We have a chance to bring in some quality, might want to get a more sure thing.
 
Half of Butch's defense at UNC (freakin UNC!!!) was drafted in the 1st or 2nd round. Butch is a stud. Gathers talent and develops it. He's the only phone call that Blake should make.

His recruiting pitch is a no-brainier for SoFla kids: "Want to get drafted in the 1st round? Ask about me."

This guy is the highest paid Offensive Coordinator in college football right now I think. He'd have to take a pay cut. Need a defensive minded coach after the dumpster fires we've had the last decade.

Who do you see out there running that version of the spread like Chad Morris? Nobody!!!! His spread offense is totally different from everyone and the run game plays a factor in his offense. There are only three offensive Genius I know in college football (Petrino, Malzhan and Chad Morris). We need to have one of them here!!!!! That offense makes recruiting so easy....
 
if golden is gone. this guy needs to be considered as the new dl coach for any new regime.

Great offensive coach, but he's 3-4 years removed from HS gig. No way we hand over the keys to anyone without head coaching experience.
