First calls ill be to Chud, maybe Schiano.

Next calls and most realistic options will be an NFL coordinator, Curtis Johnson at Tulane, Carey at NIU, the dude from Fresno State, and Mario Cristobal.

One of those will be our new HC.

Donna Shalala will not accept Petrino or Butch.

Lane Kiffen has high major HC experience and NFL experience. He is still a relatively young coach with potential who is considered a bright offensive mind in xs and os and can recruit. Not to mention he would probably accept and it would be in the appropriate price; maybe not as a tier a candidate but he would be way better than say cristobal as a backup plan.
 
Not sure why no one is giving Curtis Johnson more thought. Two years of HC experience, spent almost a decade here. Knows the recruiting landscape. Lots of NFL experience. Second year at Tulane has been an improvement over his first. I think they will give him a hard look.
 
Not sure why so many not feeling hiring Kiffen....young offensive coach that strive to be great(studying Saban recently). Great recruiter and is instant excitement wherever he go...plus he would hire an allstar staff.
