It's time.

I respectfully disagree with this narrative, Miami in general is a front runner City anything that’s on and Poppin everybody wants to be part of

You get a coach down here who can do more with less, and I believe the resources will gradually come back

Like I’ve been saying, lineup the donors and take the plunge.

We’ll see how it ends up.

That’s what I’m thinking as well plus you can expect Mario to get another head coaching position so we will get some offsets on that contract. It’s doable if we they want to move on. Will they is a totally different story

And one more thing if they leave because Mario gets fired, then they would never for Miami to begin with

You think that matter to people like that?

Lmao…

I mean you seem to know what's up.

Legitimately I don't think Mario is a bad guy or coach, but he has to see what's in front of him.

They ran similar stuff with Bama while he was there, but really became dominant when they opened up the offense.

He has to see this right? RIGHT? haha

He’s a bad coach.

His unit is the poorest performing unit on the team in terms of penalties.

Lol. People want to fire Mario for going 6-2 and missing the playoffs as if we're Alabama. Wrap it up, finish strong, reload next year with some more discipline. Dont be Nebraska/Wisconsin.
Yeah we shouldn’t focus on winning National Championships but winning the Pinstripe Bowl instead.

Not sure if you have been watching but we are closer to Nebraska/Wisconsin than Alabama.

The season is far from over and this team looks terrible. We have more losses coming.

Yeah, that's what he's saying.

Miami has averaged 7 wins per season for 20 years in the ACC, and is in fact by defintion a middle pack ACC team.

Lol seriously have you ever watched UM football? Miamis going to limp to the finish line, finish 8-4, lose a bowl game, and then next year will be a total nightmare meltdown.

Can we let the predicted losses come first and then freak out?

Just wondering, have we had the annual "we shouldn't even go to our bowl game" post yet? Those always remind me of Thanksgiving which is when they typically get posted.

In 2023, we finished 1-4 with a loss to Rutgers in the Pinestripe Bowl.
Last year, we collapsed and lost in the Pop tarts bowl.
This year is looking very much like those two years.

This is 3 years in a row. The excuses are running low for Mario.

I'm a realist. You are acting like this team will only lose 2 games this season. If Mario finishes 10-2 he will be fine. But, that is very doubtful b/c he's losing to teams that he has a clear talent advantage over and he has a good defense. It begs one to ask what exactly does Mario need to win? A number #1 overall QB couldn't do it last season now a stacked roster on both sides of the ball can't do it. Mario just isn't head coach material in the NIL/portal era.

Throw out the bowl game losses. This is college football in the '20's. Unless they are playoff games, bowl games are nothing more than exhibitions since 20% or more of each team sits out.

Good points about the regular season though. 2023 was the TVD freak out year. Last year the defense sucked balls. This year Beck INT's in crunch time.

How about a QB that doesn't turn the ball over? The truth is if Beck doesn't turn the ball over against Louisville and SMU, we're not having this discussion.

We would still have the discussion though whether Mario's conservatism keeps lesser opponents in games for too long and wastes opportunities at points (i.e. electing to take a knee to go to OT with 25 seconds left on the clock). Personally, I think it will probably keep him from ever sniffing a NC. That being said, I hope he proves me wrong and we'll see how they end the season.
