It's time.

Yep, it’s clear he has raised the floor of the program but that also might be the ceiling unless he does some real soul searching.
He wont
He would have done it years ago
He’s a meathead puzzi coach

The cake is baked

Lose out PLEASE meathead then he will be fired!!!!

If the mafia isn’t going to give NIL to the next guy, why would they pay 60 million to fire their guy? It won’t happen. Like I said over a year ago, if manny Diaz (who is not some amazing coach) was given Mario NIL we would be in no worse a position than we are now. I got plenty of face palm emojis for that. It is what it is like you said. We are screwed. Just a massive waste of money.
He has a better record at Duke than Mario does here.

The two metrics that I've noticed that give me (a little) pause are these:

1. Miami has a really young overall roster. It's younger than last year and one of the younger ones of the last 13 years
2. Of the two losses that we had, they were to the teams that had the most average college football experience (Louisville and SMU)

Hire somebody from outside the system. Preferably somebody that has never heard of Miami

For better or worse, we likely have him for the next three years. And considering all of the major schools looking for coaches right now; who do you think we would get? And would that person be better than Mario?

I mean what's the worst that could happen, we don't make an ACCCG?
It could be waaaaaayyyyy worse. Small private school in a garbage conference. There is a reason USC and Stanford are relative nobodys these days.

Smu fits that description and made the playoffs in their first year in the conference and just beat us.

Radakovich needs to be his boss and tell him he needs to hire a new OC and give him free reigns of the offense including scheme and coaches.

Mario needs to understand he’s a subpar tactician but an excellent recruiter. If he cares about UM he’ll understand his shortcomings and play the CEO role instead of trying to run an offense everyone has figured out

True but I imagine a flash in the pan. Would anyone this year talk about them at all?
Why will they talk now? Cause they beat Miami. I like Rhett but thst team is not very good, just better than us.

I don't know what Mario's buyout would be. I'm guessing, it will probably cost about $28m to move on from him, and around another $5m-$10m for the assistants. But if there ever was a time to do it, it's now. Yes, LSU, UF, and PSU all have openings, but Miami would be right there in the mix as a top job. Obviously, we have a good roster coming back (if players stay; and depending on the coach, they would return), a top 15 class, we play in dog **** & wide-open conference, updated facilities, a national brand, easy path to the CFP, and on, and on.

Why is the time now to do it?

Lane, Dillingham, Drinkwitz, Lea, Heupel, Sumrall, Huff, and of these guys would take Miami to the next level.

Mario ain't it. It's over. He can't win games in November; he consistently loses games Miami is favored, his ball control offense keeps opposing teams in the game, Miami is terribly undisciplined, and although Hetherman was a great hire, Gattis, Steele, Strong, Guidy, and now Dawson were and are failures. Is there any doubt now that Ward, Restrepo, Arroyo, Martinez, Fletcher, and a way better 2-5 WR depth made Dawson.

I can't stand Nevin Shapiro. But I admit I listened to his "Willis McGahee" podcast, and there's no doubt that rat was telling the truth about Mario and members of his staff not liking him (hello, Dawson).

Next season's schedule for a new coach is set up pretty nicely. Home games against Florida A&M, FSU, Pitt, Central Michigan, BC, and VaTech, with road games at ND, Clemson, UNC, Stanford, and Wake Forest.

Add to this very favorable schedule, probably the best roster returning in the ACC.

Support for the program is only going to get worse next season after another 3-4 losses (even with another very favorable schedule).

It's time. Cut the cord. Move on from Mario.
Are you people serious? Really?

Maybe ole Rad can set up a Zoom meeting with him from his work-at-home office in SC and tell him such. The AD is worthless too.
