It's Time to Quit Playing the ACC Championship in Charlotte

they arent moving the championship game back to FL anytime soon bc of the terrible attendance when the game was in Jax and Tampa.

But its time to get rid of these divisions and go to pods.
its embarrassing that we are in the most pathetic division college football and we consistently finish 3rd or 4th.

I don't understand why not play it in Tampa? Don't play it down here to prevent the home field advantage for us, but what ACC team would not want to head to Tampa for a weekend in early December?

It just seems unnecessary. Big 12 plays in Jerry’s house. Big 10 plays in a dome. SEC plays in a dome. Why is the ACC still playing their championship in a 2nd rate outdoor stadium in cold weather?

Second rate conference, second rate stadium. Makes sense.

You guys are soooo adorable.

Thinking the ACC overlords would factor in these meaningless things you mention. You exist in a Tobacco Road world. Start with that understanding and things will go that much better for you in life.

Alternate between Tampa & Orlando, because the AAC will be playing their conference title game @ the team who has the best record which will usually be in Orlando & it doesn't make sense to have 2 conference title games in the same day in the same city.

It will never be in Atlanta because ATL is SEC country & GTech doesn't even have control of the ATL market, UGA does.
UCF has their own stadium, the Camping World stadium is available

I don't even care about the location. Just play inside I'd it's going to be somewhere that has horrible weather.

It does always seem like the weather for this game is awful. You don’t want weather deciding the better team.

The game should be played in a warm weather area or inside a dome. The SEC, Big 12 and Big 10 are smart enough to throw their title games in a dome.

We’re outside like a bunch of dumb savages. Put it in Florida or inside a dome.

It comes down to these games being for the fans. Fans like to go to warm areas so they can enjoy the outdoors. I would move to Jacksonville which is central to all the members except for BC and Syracuse.

I know that, but from a ticket sales standpoint having 2 conference title games in the same city on the same day doesn't make good business sense even if it's seperate venues.

That's why I said alternate between Tampa/Orlando, because their championship games goes to whichever team has the best in conference record. So sometimes theirs could be in Houston, Memphis or Orlando.
