No more turnover chain, get rid of the touchdown rings (sh*t looked goofy as f*ck anyways), get rid of the #TNM hashtag, that **** mallet players carry into the stadium before games, etc. Time to do away with all that false bravado sh*t. The team is steadily losing and looking like clowns/jackasses by continuing to rely on these props and gimmicks. In the words of Yo Gotti, it's time to go back to tha basics. Enough of this clownassery.

So you want to kill all this and you still want the kids to want to come here?

Maybe the kids come here to play football, win games and win championships. If we focus on winning instead of gimmicks, the recruits will come.

And thats such a simple thing to do right?
Some people just don't understand the ERA that we are in, and that we have been irrelevant for the last 18 years.
Our talent keeps being spread across the country and kid's are not interested in Miami like they used too.
You may not agree with the Props but they work and help with media and social media exposure.
Also, it took Dabo 5 years and I've been saying over and over that rome wasn't built in one day.
Be patient or watch another team.

I never said anything about being impatient. I have been a UM fan since the 70s, and lived through the highs and the lows. I spent 8 years of my life at UM (undergrad and Med school). UM football is the only team in all of sports that I follow and cheer for passionately.

All I said was that we need recruits that want to come here to play football and win. Gimmicks are just that. And your own example of Clemson is exactly the type of trajectory I would love to see for Miami. Young, passionate coach who works hard, recruits well, and builds a dynasty. Dabo didn’t need jewelry to do that.

We’ve had several years of media hype around the turnover chain, and we are still a team that struggles in one of the weakest divisions in the P5.

In my opinion, we'll never be back as along as we are in the ACC. The administration seem like they don't want to win. Lazy hire after lazy hire. You hire some OC that wasn't an OC at Bama. He was just Sabans b*tch boy. You think if Saban held him to some high regard he would've just let him walk away? We're not winning any time soon.

Time to get rid of the U hand jesture by that logic, that started after the ‘00-02” run and team hasn’t been where we all want since

Guaranteed $ will make u do such.

Always ignore the offseason. That's the ticket. Otherwise you'll be bombarded with one worthless adjustment and rationalization after another.

I follow until February signing day and then tune out completely, other than seeing where our guys go in the draft.

But I always know what is going on here in subsequent months. You'll be brainwashed with one absurd tout after another. Some player. Some coach. Some Xs and Os concept. Some ignorant crap regarding strength of schedule.

It all serves to detour from the basic reality that we are playing in a scrappy conference with plenty of teams talented enough to defeat us as long as we occupy our current roster level instead of the one we had during the glory seasons.
