He did a lot considering the O-Line he had. TVD's release, pocket presence and decisiveness (not "run first") helped with protection. But the inability to run block prevented the playbook being used to its full potential.

Given the situation, I think it turned out pretty good for Lashlee and TVD. Lash got a HC gig and TVD emerged as an elite qb.
