We could have gotten Herman last year for next to nothing.

Forget about it now. He will be the most coveted coach in college football. We will not and cannot outbid the field.

He has a huge buyout and will command 4 mil per year.
 
Only problem is if USCw wants him first. I think he would go there first.

but USC is looking higher than him it seems. Targeting John Harbaugh. There's a wide gap between the caliber of coach of John and Tom Herman
 
If anything will accelerate Herman to USC, it'll be Miami showing interest in him. USC will get him locked up, pronto.

 
Herman will end up at Texas this year or next.

He may stay at Houston for another year.

He is not the type of guy that will leave after one year.

In my opinion, if we really want Herman...USC (not south carolina) is our only competition. South Carolina will always be a second tier program in the SEC...Miami and USC always have the capability to win championships.
 
i will let everyone know when the time comes as of right now i havent heard ****... But i will most likely message it no post because after ariz took my info i posted about the meeting and golden getting let go sunday i have no respect for many

The one thing that worries me about Herman is that I think he could potentially bolt after 1 or 2 years here, and then were back to square 1.
