OK, let's try to have a thread for the people going to South Carolina this weekend.
Should be a cold one (thank God I had left my coat in my car a couple of weeks ago, as I technically forgot to bring a coat to the GaTech game, and my candy Florida a$$ would have frozen).
Not much organized tailgating going on. The Canes United parking is a bit far, but it's probably as good as it gets for Clemson. The alums/boosters have all the good spots, I went to a few games a few years ago when I was working up in Greenville, and expect parking to be a lot like what we saw at aTm.
No idea if the Alumni Association has anything set up for Friday night, and I think Canes United has something at a local spot.
If you want to go to The Smokin' Pig, do the smart thing and hit the location in Easley (if you are driving from Greenville) or Anderson (if you are driving from Atlanta). The one closest to Clemson will be slammed.
A less-famous, but just as amazing, choice for BBQ is Smoky Dreams on Woodruff Road. Trust me.
For bit of a nicer restaurant experience, I love Smoke on the Water in downtown Greenville. Falls Park is beautiful.
