This is the day I point to as the beginning of the end. With the exception of the run in 17. We have been a middle of the road team. Last nights game might be the culmination of the decline. Hope I am wrong. Never thought I would get to the point where I feel indeferent about the Canes, but I am officially there. Same as the Dolphins. Will still root for them, but not sure I can have the emotional commitment.

I try, over and over, to have no emotional connection, but am unable. But games like last night help get me closer.

All of our seasons from 2006 on have been crud, save for 2016-2017.

And even 2017 was more of an okayish season that some people pretend is good because our standards are so low nowadays, and because of one big game against ND. As a whole, 2016 was probably better than 2017, TBH.

Starts at the top and unfortunately it's not going to get better. I will not write another check to this program until changes are made and I see years of proof. Been burned too many times. Spend money to make money. We worried about the wrong things at the school.

Gonzo Cane you have a point the Ohio State loss sent a message that the U was not wanted it really was a message to the administration. Your program is so dispised that we are willing to cheat to make sure you don't get what you have rightfully earned. It sends a helluva message that despite your best efforts we just may undermine you. And think it about it? We have had few games w/out a bad call or two going against us ever since.

Exactly.... Ever since Kyle Wright threw that ******* ball to olsen with triple coverage on first down.... Smfh
What I really hate is Coker going for it on 4th down 3 times in close field goal range throughout the game

Or Calvin Johnson making the most incredible stretch to catch an almost impossibly thrown Reggie Ball pass.

still remember that feeling like yesterday.

I never thought it could get worse than that night. Boy was I wrong.
